Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students within classroom environments
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance under the guidance of teachers and staff
• Aid students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Follow and implement individualized behavior plans and IEPs
• Support needs involving supervision, mobility, and personal care
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for all learners

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• TB test per district regulations
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift as needed for student support
• Background clearances (current or willingness to obtain before starting)

Preferred Experience:

• Background working in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, including autism or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT a plus, but not required
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative disposition
