Instructional Aide substitutes are needed for immediate, per diem opportunities supporting local schools. These flexible openings allow you to make a genuine impact on students lives while maintaining control over your schedule. As an Instructional Aide substitute, you'll work as-needed, stepping in to assist with a variety of classroom and student needs based on school coverage demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social assistance to students in classroom settings
• Offer 1:1 or small group support as directed by staff and teachers
• Assist students during transitions, daily routines, and classroom activities
• Support the implementation of individualized education or behavior support plans
• Help with mobility, personal care, and ensure student safety and inclusion
• Maintain a respectful, supportive environment for all students

Essential Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a TB test (per district policy)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to obtain prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, child care, or behavioral health
• Background supporting students with disabilities, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials (a plus, not required)
• Reliable, patient, and teamwork-focused attitude
