Job Title: Classroom Hero (Per Diem IA/PCA Instructional Aide / Personal Care Assistant)

Schedule: Per Diem (Work when you wantno minimum shifts required!)

As a Per Diem IA/PCA (Instructional Aide / Personal Care Assistant), youll support teachers and students in a variety of classroom settingssometimes academic, sometimes hands-on, always meaningful. What Youll Be Doing:

• Supporting teachers with daily classroom activities and instruction
• Working one-on-one or in small groups with students
• Assisting students with special needs, including academic and personal care support (PCA role)
• Helping maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Stepping into different classrooms as neededflexibility is key!
• Assisting with classroom prep, organization, and general support

Pennsylvania Requirements (Youll Need One of These):
Paraprofessionals (IAs/PCAs) in Pennsylvania typically must meet one of the following:

• Completion of at least 2 years of postsecondary education (48 college credits), or
• An associates degree or higher, or
• Meet a highly qualified standard by passing a formal state or local assessment

Additional Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work effectively with students and staff
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, adaptable, and ready to jump in when needed
• For PCA roles: comfort assisting with personal care tasks (feeding, mobility, hygiene, etc.)

Bonus Points If You:

• Have experience working with children or in school settings
• Have supported students with disabilities or diverse learning needs
• Are CPR/First Aid certified
• Speak more than one language
