Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Offer 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teaching staff
• Help students with routines, transitions, and participation in classroom activities
• Implement behavior plans and follow IEP guidelines when applicable
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care needs as required
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to meet school compliance requirements (TB test, background clearances)
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting as needed
• Willing to obtain or update required clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is an asset (not required)
• Team-oriented, reliable, and patient approach
