As an Instructional Aide Substitute, youll step in on an as-needed basis to cover classroom assignments and provide critical one-to-one or small-group assistance under the direction of teachers and staff. Whether supporting daily routines, assisting with classroom transitions, or helping implement behavior plans, every day offers a new opportunity to create a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group assistance in classrooms as directed
• Support students participation in daily routines and learning activities
• Help implement behavior plans and follow individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Assist with students mobility, supervision, and care needs as required
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all learners

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Completed TB test (per district guidelines)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting tasks
• Current or obtainable background clearances

Preferred:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Comfort working with students with special needs or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT background is a plus
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative attitude
