Key Responsibilities:

• Offer 1:1 or small-group support to students as guided by teaching staff
• Assist with daily routines, classroom activities, and student transitions
• Help implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct supervision, mobility help, and personal care when needed
• Contribute to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment

Core Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test (as required by the school district)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT considered beneficial
• Paraprofessional Educator Certification or Teaching Assistant Certification
• Patience, reliability, and a team-first attitude
