Per Diem Teacher Aide | Elk Grove, California

Support student learning and classroom management as a Paraprofessional in a dynamic school environment located in Elk Grove, CA. This per diem position offers the opportunity to work closely with educators to enhance educational outcomes and support students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed teachers in delivering instructional activities and supporting individual student needs
• Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a safe and productive classroom setting
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students requiring additional assistance
• Collaborate with school staff to monitor student progress and adapt support as needed
• Utilize Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) techniques to ensure student and staff safety during behavioral incidents

Qualifications:

• CPI certification required to safely support students with behavioral challenges
• Experience working in educational settings, preferably supporting students with special needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students and staff
• Ability to follow directions, be proactive, and demonstrate patience and flexibility in a classroom setting
• Commitment to confidentiality and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
