Responsibilities include:

• Providing academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Assisting 1:1 or with small groups as directed by teachers and school staff
• Helping students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Implementing behavior support strategies and following IEPs where required
• Assisting with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as appropriate
• Fostering a safe and respectful learning atmosphere for all students

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• TB testing required by the district
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience (helpful, but not required)
• Reliable, collaborative, and patient approach

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
