Key Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Successful TB test, per school requirements
• Able to stand, walk, and help students with lifting or mobility as needed
• School clearances (current or ability to obtain prior to starting)

Preferred Background

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism spectrum disorder, or behavioral challenges
• Training or experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach

Role Responsibilities

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially, as directed by educational staff
• Deliver one-on-one or small group assistance to help students succeed
• Aid with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement positive behavioral support strategies and follow Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care tasks
• Help maintain a safe, respectful classroom atmosphere for all
