Job Description

As an Instructional Aide, youll play a hands-on role helping students thrive in their academic, behavioral, and social growth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classrooms and school settings
- Providing 1:1 and small group support as directed by teachers or school staff
- Helping students transition between activities, supporting daily routines, and encouraging engagement
- Implementing behavior management strategies and following IEPs as appropriate
- Providing supervision and mobility assistance, ensuring each students safety and comfort
- Fostering an inclusive, positive, and respectful learning environment for all
Candidates must fulfill these school requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 years of age or older
- TB test as required by the school district
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
- Willingness to complete all required background and safety clearances before starting
Preferred experience includes:
- Background work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
- Confidence supporting students with autism, special needs, or behavioral challenges
- CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials (not required but valued)
- A patient, reliable, and team-oriented approach

Compensation for this position ranges from $19.42 to $30.42. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
