Instructional Aide substitutes are needed to provide essential classroom support in a dynamic, school-based environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic, behavioral, and social support to students within classroom settings
• Offer 1:1 assistance or small group help as directed by educators and allied staff
• Assist students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavioral support plans and adhere to students IEPs when required
• Provide supervision, mobility support, and, if necessary, personal care
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners

Requirements for School Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years
• TB testing as required by local regulations
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting tasks
• Current clearances (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)

Preferred Experience and Attributes:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Prior experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is valued, though not mandatory
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative team player
