Per Diem Instructional Aide - Edmonds, WA

Instructional Aide Subs are needed for immediate, flexible opportunities in school environments near Edmonds, WA. Serve as a valuable resource by stepping in to support students 1:1 or in small groups, helping them thrive academically, behaviorally, and socially. This per diem, as-needed position is ideal for compassionate, dedicated professionals who want to make a positive impact while working in a structured educational setting.

What You'll Do:

• Assist students in classroom activities, providing direct academic, behavioral, and social support
• Work closely with teachers and staff to offer 1:1 or small-group assistance
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as instructed
• Support with mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
• Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all learners

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Current TB test (per district guidelines)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• All clearances must be current or obtained prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
• Familiarity with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Certification in CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus (not required)
• Dependable, patient, and team-focused attitude
