Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Instructional Aide Substitute opportunities are available for compassionate individuals eager to support students in a dynamic school environment. These per diem, as-needed roles allow you to accept assignments that fit your schedule while making a genuine impact as a 1:1 or small-group aide. Provide essential classroom support and contribute to a safe, nurturing environment where every student can thrive.

What You'll Do:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within the classroom
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group support under the guidance of teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, classroom engagement, and transitions
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as needed
• Support students mobility, supervision, and, when necessary, personal care
• Foster a respectful and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test (per district policies)
• Ability to stand, walk, and provide lifting or physical assistance as needed
• Up-to-date clearances or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, behavioral health, special education, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus
• Reliable, adaptable, and committed to teamwork

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.38 to $30.38. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
