Key Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age of 18
• Willingness to complete a TB test (in accordance with district guidelines)
• Capacity to stand, walk, and occasionally assist with lifting
• Current or obtainable clearances required for school employment
  Preferred Experience:
• Previous work in schools, child care, special education, or behavioral health
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices (a plus, but not mandatory)
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and collaborative spirit

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small-group academic, behavioral, and social support
• Assist students with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Implement teacher-directed strategies and behavior plans, including IEP adherence
• Support supervision, mobility, and personal care as needed
• Help maintain a respectful and inclusive classroom environment
