Per Diem Special Education Paraprofessional in Easton, PA

Instructional Aide Subs are needed for dynamic, school-based roles on a per diem basis, offering flexibility and the chance to directly support students in both academic and behavioral growth. Responsibilities:

• Provide crucial 1:1 or small group support to students during classroom activities
• Help students follow daily routines, navigate transitions, and engage in learning
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEP guidelines as directed
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care needs in a respectful, inclusive manner
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff for optimal student outcomes

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, and at least 18 years old
• TB test as required by the district
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Up-to-date clearances or readiness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges is highly valued
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certification is a plus, but not required
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative spirit
