Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individual students or small groups with learning activities and classroom participation
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment while supporting behavioral or mobility needs
• Follow teachers directions, implement behavior support plans, and adhere to IEPs as needed
• Guide students through daily routines, transitions, and personal care
• Ensure supervision and provide academic, behavioral, and social support within classroom settings

Requirements for School-Based Work:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to stand, walk, and provide physical support when needed
• TB test (per school requirements)
• Current clearances (or willingness to obtain them before starting)

Preferred Background:

• School, special education, behavioral health, or childcare experience
• Experience with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Background with CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus, but not required
• Reliable, adaptable, and a genuinely patient demeanor
