Key Responsibilities:

• Offer 1:1 or small-group assistance to students as directed by teachers and school staff
• Support academic, behavioral, and social needs in classroom settings
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Help implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs where applicable
• Aid students with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Willingness to complete TB test (per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• All required clearances current or willingness to obtain before assignment

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT a plus (not required)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach
