Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic and behavioral support to students in classroom environments
- Deliver 1:1 and small group assistance based on teacher and staff guidance
- Help students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
- Follow individual education plans (IEPs) and implement behavior supports as needed
- Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
- Foster inclusive, safe, and respectful learning spaces
Essential Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age: 18
- Current TB test, as required by the district
- Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting, as necessary
- Willingness to obtain any required clearances before starting
Preferred Experience:
- Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
- Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral concerns
- Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is beneficial but not mandatory
- Compassionate, reliable, and a true team player
