School Paraprofessional Subs Needed School-Based | Flexible Opportunities

Instructional Aides are needed to provide meaningful 1:1 support to students in school environments. As a school paraprofessional substitute, this per diem position offers flexible, as-needed scheduling perfect for compassionate professionals seeking to positively impact students daily experiences. Shifts are based on school coverage requirements, allowing you to select assignments that fit your availability.

What Youll Do:

• Offer individualized academic, behavioral, and social assistance to students in classroom settings
• Provide support one-on-one or in small groups following teachers guidance
• Assist students with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Help implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as required
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs when necessary
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements for School Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Active ParaPro certification, Substitute Teaching certification, or minimum of 36 college credits
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Able to provide a TB test as needed by school district
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting when required
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus, but not required
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach to teamwork
