Your responsibilities will focus on fostering student success through:

• Academic, behavioral, and social support within classroom environments
• One-on-one or small-group assistance as directed by educational staff
• Assistance with daily routines, transitions, and ensuring active classroom participation
• Implementation of behavior support plans, including following IEPs as required
• Providing mobility, supervision, and care assistance to students with greater needs
• Promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive space for learning

To be considered for this rewarding position, you must meet these school compliance requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• One of the following: active ParaPro certification, substitute teaching certification, OR at least 36 college credits
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test per district policy
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting as needed
• Up-to-date clearances or willingness to obtain clearances prior to working

Preferred background includes experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care. Familiarity with students with special needs or behavioral challenges is advantageous. CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is helpful, but not required. Reliability, patience, and a collaborative approach are essential qualities.
