Support students 1:1 as an Instructional Aide, helping them succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially. These per diem positions allow you to choose shifts based on your availability and school coverage needs, while enriching your own experience within a structured educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom support to students, either individually or in small groups, as directed by educational staff
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow individual education programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Encourage and maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment
• Support the supervision, mobility, and personal care needs of students when necessary

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have at least one: active ParaPro certification, substitute teaching certification, or 36 college credits
• Minimum age: 18 years old
• Recent TB test or willingness to obtain per district requirements
• Current clearances or willingness to secure prior to starting
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Skills working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training a plus
• Patient, reliable, and collaborative approach
