Instructional Aide substitutes provide essential 1:1 and small-group support, helping students succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially. Shifts are offered based on school coverage needs, letting you accept assignments as they fit your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer individualized and small-group assistance under the guidance of teachers and school staff
• Foster a safe, inclusive classroom where all students are respected
• Support students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and engagement
• Implement behavior plans and follow IEP guidelines
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and, when necessary, personal care
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Able to stand, walk, and help lift as needed
• TB test (per school policy)
• Willingness to complete or update required clearances prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience a plus
• Patient, reliable, and collaborative mindset

Compensation for this position ranges from $19.42 to $30.42. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
