Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
- Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers or staff
- Help students with daily routines, transitions, classroom engagement, and participation
- Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as needed
- Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care
- Uphold a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age: 18 years
- TB test per district guidelines
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
- Current background clearances or willingness to obtain upon hire
Preferred Experience:
- Prior work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
- Familiarity with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- CPI, PMT, or RBT experience considered a plus (not required)
- Reliable, patient, and collaborative mindset
