These essential, per diem roles allow you to support students one-on-one or in small groups within a structured school environment. You'll assist with academic, behavioral, and daily routines, ensuring that every student receives the care and guidance they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care, maintaining a safe and respectful learning space
• Uphold a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Meet school compliance standards, including a current TB test and background clearances (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus (but not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative attitude
