Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Deerfield, Illinois

What Youll Do:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Provide individualized or small group assistance under the guidance of teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as required
• Support students mobility and personal care as needed
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Current PEL License
• 18 years of age or older
• Completed TB test (per school requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and provide physical assistance when necessary
• Up-to-date school compliance clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care environments
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, though not required
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative nature

Compensation for this position ranges from $19.42 to $30.42. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
