Instructional Aide Substitutes Needed Flexible School-Based Support Opportunities

As an Instructional Aide substitute, you'll play a vital role in supporting learners one-on-one, working closely with teachers and staff to enhance the classroom experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students in classroom settings, both one-on-one and in small groups
• Assist with classroom activities, daily routines, and transitions
• Implement behavior support plans, and follow IEPs as directed
• Support students' mobility and personal care needs with empathy and respect
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students
• Monitor and support safe participation in class activities

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to pass TB testing and required background clearances (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working in educational, behavioral health, special education, or child care settings
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices a plus (not required)
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative approach to teamwork
