In this role, you will:

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students, assisting with academic, behavioral, and social development
• Support students in classroom participation, daily routines, and transitions
• Implement behavior support plans and follow individualized education programs (IEPs) as directed
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and, when needed, personal care tasks
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere

Qualifications and requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to stand, walk, and provide assistance with lifting if necessary
• TB test (in accordance with district requirements)
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred experience:

• Previous work in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus, but not required
• Patience, reliability, and a collaborative approach
