What You'll Do:

• Provide 1:1 or small group assistance to students under the guidance of teachers and staff
• Encourage academic, social, and behavioral growth in classroom settings
• Assist with daily classroom routines, transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow IEP recommendations when required
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Help foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB screening (as required by district)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current background clearances, or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Previous work in school, childcare, special education, or behavioral health settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus but not required
• Dependable, patient, and enthusiastic about helping others
