Your work will range from providing academic and behavioral support to assisting with students daily routines, ensuring each child receives the encouragement and guidance they need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially throughout the school day
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group support as directed by classroom staff
• Help students navigate daily routines and transitions
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEP objectives
• Provide supervision, mobility support, and basic personal care if needed
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Active ParaPro certification, Substitute Teaching certification, or minimum 36 college credits
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Current TB test (per district policy)
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting
• Current clearances, or willing to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral or emotional challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative nature
