Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Daly City, California

As a substitute instructional aide, you will:

• Assist students individually or in small groups with academic, behavioral, and social development
• Follow teachers and staff members directions to ensure effective classroom participation

• Implement behavior support plans and accommodate IEP requirements as needed
• Provide support for mobility, supervision, andwhen neededpersonal care
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom community

Requirements to work in a school setting:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if required
• Willingness to obtain (or current) TB test and background clearances per district policy

Preferred background includes:

• Experience working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Comfort supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Any experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, but not mandatory
• Reliable, patient attitude with a collaborative spirit
