Instructional Aide Opportunities Per Diem, School-Based Support
Location: Dalton, GA
Flexible, per diem positions are available for Instructional Aides to provide vital 1:1 and small group support to students within a structured school environment. These roles suit compassionate individuals dedicated to making a positive difference in student development and daily school routines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings
- Provide individual or small group assistance as directed by teachers and staff
- Assist with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
- Implement behavior support plans and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Aid with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age of 18
- Ability to complete a TB test per district requirements
- Capability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
- Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting
Preferred Experience:
- Background in education, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
- Experience working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT certifications is a plus but not mandatory
- Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a collaborative approach
