Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Daggett, California

In this essential role, youll work closely with teachers and school staff to provide one-on-one or small-group assistance. Youll play a part in helping students succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally, whether its guiding daily routines, supporting classroom transitions, or implementing tailored behavior support plans and IEPs.

What You'll Do:

• Assist students with academic, behavioral, and social growth in the classroom
• Provide 1:1 or small group support as directed by education staff
• Help with daily routines, mobility, and classroom participation
• Follow behavior support plans and IEPs where needed
• Maintain inclusive, safe, and respectful learning environments
• Support personal care and supervision when necessary

What Were Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 18 years of age
• Able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• TB test (per district requirements)
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT methodologies (a plus)
• Patient, reliable, and collaborative approach
