Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic, behavioral, and social support for students in classroom settings
• Work directly with individuals or small groups under the guidance of teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and promoting classroom engagement
• Follow behavior support plans and IEPs, adapting assistance as directed
• Offer mobility, supervision, and personal care support when required
• Maintain an inclusive, respectful, and safe learning atmosphere for all

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Minimum age of 18
• Ability to obtain a current TB test (as per district policy)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lift support if needed
• Hold up-to-date clearances, or willingness to complete them before starting

Preferred Experience and Qualities:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT protocols is a plus
• Demonstrates reliability, patience, and thrives in team environments
