Per Diem Instructional Aide in Cottonwood, CA

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance under the guidance of teachers and staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Follow behavior support plans and implement IEP strategies as needed
• Support students with mobility, safety, supervision, and personal care requirements
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for learning

REQUIREMENTS FOR SCHOOL COMPLIANCE

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• TB test as required by district guidelines
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed
• Current background clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in school, child care, special education, or behavioral health settings
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus, but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
