Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students in classrooms under teacher or staff direction
• Assist with academic tasks, behavior support plans, and daily routines
• Help with transitions, classroom participation, and reinforcing positive behaviors
• Maintain safety, inclusivity, and respect for all learners
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Follow individual education plans (IEPs) and school guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Current TB test (or willing to obtain, as required by the district)
• Ability to stand, walk, and provide physical assistance if necessary
• Clearances must be current or submitted before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, behavioral health, special education, or childcare settings
• Experience supporting students with autism, special needs, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certifications are a plus, but not required
• Reliable, patient, and strong collaborative problem-solver

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
