Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students in classroom participation, daily routines, and transitions throughout the school day.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support as directed by teachers and educational staff.
• Implement behavior plans and follow individualized education programs (IEPs) when applicable.
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as necessary.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment where all students can succeed.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Satisfactory TB test, as required by school guidelines.
• Ability to stand, walk, and provide physical support to students when needed.
• Willingness to obtain or update any clearances prior to starting.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or childcare.
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is valued but not required.
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a collaborative, team-focused approach.
