Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Corona, CA

Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed to provide vital day-to-day support to students in school environments. As a Per Diem paraprofessional, youll be able to choose shifts that fit your schedule while impacting students academic, social, and behavioral growth. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 or small-group support in classrooms as directed by teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Support the implementation of IEPs and behavior support plans
• Encourage positive behaviors and foster a safe, inclusive environment
• Help with supervision, mobility, and personal care needs as appropriate
• Model patience and professionalism in all interactions
• Maintain clear and respectful communication with staff and students

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Up-to-date TB test (per district policy)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if required
• Willingness to complete and maintain required clearances
• Dependable, team-oriented, and proactive

Preferred:

• Previous experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT preferred, but not required

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
