Per Diem Special Education Paraprofessional in Citrus Heights, CA

Instructional Aide Subs are needed to provide crucial support to students in local school settings. As an Instructional Aide, youll work in a structured environment, offering academic, behavioral, and social support to studentsoften in 1:1 or small-group settings. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic and behavioral support in classroom settings
• Assist students individually or in small groups as directed by educational staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and full classroom participation
• Implement behavior intervention plans and support IEP goals when applicable
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and basic personal care tasks
• Contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and safe school environment

Mandatory Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to complete TB test as required
• Physically able to assist with student mobility and lifting
• Must have up-to-date clearances or willingness to obtain prior to assignment

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience with special needs, autism, or behavioral support
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, but not required
• Strong team player with patience and reliability
