Per Diem Paraeducator in Cicero, IL

• Supporting students mobility, personal care, and providing supervision
• Fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

To be eligible, youll need:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Be at least 18 years old
• TB test compliance (following district guidelines)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting as required
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Direct support experience with students with special needs, autism spectrum, or behavioral challenges
• Exposure to CPI, PMT, or RBT approaches (a plus, not mandatory)
• Reliability, patience, and a team-focused attitude
