Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to students academically, behaviorally, and socially
• Assist teachers with classroom management and daily routines, including transitions and supervision
• Implement student-specific plans and accommodations, following IEPs and behavior support strategies as directed
• Safely assist with mobility and, where needed, personal care
• Help maintain an inclusive, respectful, and safe learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to meet district health requirements (TB test, etc.)
• Capacity to stand, walk, and help with student lifting as needed
• Willingness to obtain or provide necessary clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity with supporting students with autism or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus (not required)
• Reliability, patience, and strong collaboration skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
