Instructional Aide Subs Needed Flexible School-Based Opportunities in Chickamauga, GA

Seeking dedicated Instructional Aides to provide 1:1 support to students in a structured school environment. This per diem position offers flexible shifts based on school coverage needs, making it an excellent opportunity for compassionate professionals eager to positively impact students academic, behavioral, and social development.

Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within the classroom
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
• Help students navigate daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Location:

• Chickamauga, GA (School-based assignment)

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years
• Compliance with TB testing and district clearance requirements
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training or certification in CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach to teamwork
