What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Georgia Paraprofessional Certification
• At least 18 years old
• Recent TB test (per district policy)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting students
• Current school clearances or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• Prior work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials welcome but not mandatory
• Strong patience, reliability, and collaborative spirit

What Youll Do:

• Provide direct, 1:1 or small-group assistance to students as guided by teachers and staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow IEPs as directed
• Offer mobility, supervision, and personal care support where necessary
• Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom community
