What youll do:

• Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance as directed by teachers or school staff
• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within the classroom
• Assist with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Follow behavior support plans and implement IEPs, where applicable
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Maintain a respectful and inclusive learning environment for all

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• TB testing (per district policy)
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred experience:

• Background providing support in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices (a plus, not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
