In this role, youll work closely with students, giving one-on-one assistance as directed by teachers and school staff. Help students navigate their daily academic routines and provide medical, behavioral, and social support in classroom settings. Your responsibilities will include assisting with mobility, personal care, transitions, and encouraging full classroom participation, all while helping maintain a safe and inclusive environment.

Requirements for School Employment:

• Hold an active RN license.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willingness to obtain a TB test per district guidelines.
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed.
• Required clearances, either already current or willingness to obtain before starting.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care.
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience is a plus but not essential.
• Dependable, patient, and teamwork-focused attitude.
