Key Responsibilities

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom environments
• Provide individualized or small-group support as directed by educators
• Help facilitate daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior plans and follow student IEPs when necessary
• Support student mobility, classroom safety, and personal care needs
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive school community

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to stand, walk, and physically assist as needed
• TB test in accordance with district policies
• Up-to-date clearances or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience

• Prior roles in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT methodologies is a plus
• Reliable work ethic, patience, and a collaborative attitude
