School Paraprofessional Needed | Per Diem | Flexible Opportunities

Make a difference in students lives by providing essential support in a structured school environment. As a School Paraprofessional, youll work closely with students on a 1:1 basis, offering compassion and hands-on assistance in classrooms. This per diem, as-needed position lets you choose shifts that suit your schedule while helping students thrive academically and socially.

What You'll Do:

• Offer 1:1 support to students in classroom settings, as directed by teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, classroom participation, and personal care
• Support students medically, behaviorally, and socially to ensure their well-being
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
• Help with mobility, supervision, and any required lifting or assistance tasks

What You'll Need:

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (per district requirements)
• Ability to walk, stand, and support lifting/physical assistance as needed
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Background:

• Previous experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR certification, experience with G-Tube or Trach (a plus, but not required)
• Dependable, patient, and team-focused attitude
