Instructional Aide Subs are needed to provide essential 1:1 and small-group support to students in a welcoming, school-based environment near Carthage, IL. This per diem, as-needed role offers flexibilitytake shifts that fit your schedule and play an active role in helping students succeed both academically and socially.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support students in classroom settings, offering academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assistance
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group help as guided by teachers and staff
• Aid students with classroom participation, daily routines, and smooth transitions
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and adhere to IEPs when applicable
• Provide supervision, mobility support, and personal care as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• TB test as required locally
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Background:

• Experience in educational, childcare, behavioral health, or special education settings
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certification is a plus but not mandatory
• Reliable, patient, and a team-focused approach

Compensation for this position ranges from $19.42 to $30.42. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
