As an Instructional Aide Substitute, you will:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support in the classroom, adapting your approach to meet individual and group needs.
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance, guided by teachers and school staff.
• Help students adjust to daily school routines and transitions, fostering positive classroom participation.
• Assist in implementing behavior support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) where needed.
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements as directed.
• Promote safety and inclusivity, contributing to a respectful learning atmosphere.

Requirements for consideration:

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
• Compliance with district health requirements, including a current or willing-to-obtain TB test and background clearances.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed.

Preferred experience includes:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings.
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus but not mandatory.
• A reliable, patient, and collaborative approach to your work.
