What Youll Do:

• Support students in classrooms both individually and in small groups, following teacher and staff guidance
• Assist students with daily routines, including transitions and active participation in lessons
• Help implement behavior support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), when applicable
• Supervise, provide mobility assistance, and assist with personal care needs as required
• Maintain an inclusive, respectful, and safe classroom atmosphere at all times

Essential Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Tuberculosis (TB) test, as per district policies
• Current required clearances, or willingness to obtain prior to starting
• Physically able to assist with standing, walking, and basic lifting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in a school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare environment
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or challenging behaviors
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus, but not mandatory
• Reliable, patient, collaborative, and committed to student success
