As an Instructional Aide Substitute, you will:

• Offer direct 1:1 or small group academic, behavioral, and social support to students within classroom settings
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement instructional strategies and support daily routines
• Assist students with transitions, classroom participation, and personal care or mobility needs as required
• Follow behavior intervention plans and IEPs, maintaining a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere
• Help to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Current TB test in accordance with district guidelines
• Ability to stand, walk, and aid with lifting as necessary
• All clearances must be current or candidates must be willing to obtain them before their start date

Preferred Background:

• Experience working in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity with supporting students with behavioral challenges, special needs, or autism
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is an asset, but not required
• Reliable, flexible, and patient, with a collaborative approach
